The Secomar S.p.A. Company operates in the environmental sector and provides the following services:
– Prevention and reclamation of polluted sea waters;
– Collection, transport and send off for treatment of the liquid waste produced on board the ships;
– Cleaning of sea waters;
– Provision of oil products and on-board ship supplies (bunkering)

Ambiente Mare, has been operating in the waste-management sector since 1994 and in synergy with its associated company Secomar it places as its primary objective the provision of an autonomous, specialised and highly competitive service, capable of completely satisfying all types of disposal requests deriving from Ravenna’s port areas, such as shipbuilding, tank flushing, bilge water, waste generated on platforms, etc.

In order to provide the client with a complete service, the Group pays particular attention to the transport of goods sector. Trasped is specialised in the transport of products exiting the port of Ravenna. Italterminal’s clients, can receive the goods at the quays by sea and directly at the company offices using the Trasped vehicles, all of which are ADR (Accord Dangerous Road) certified.

Embarkations, Goods Landings And Storage

Italterminal, headquartered in Ravenna, in Via Classicana n. 20, was founded in 1989 as an authorised port company (as per Art. 16), to carry out the ship’s cargo loading and unloading operations, and which – on behalf of the client – is then stored in its yards and warehouses as per customs procedures.
The Terminal handles the blending and bagging of fertilizers. In this market Ravenna holds a leading role in Italy and Itaterminal covers 20% of the local market handling 250.000 tons of processed fertilizers. The plants have a blending and bagging capacity of up to 3.000 tons per day.

Maritime transport

With a view to providing clients with a complete service, the Group has entered in the direct handling of sea freight services specialised in dry cargo, using the appropriate vessels according to the market and commercial client needs. Hence the set up of the Pk Dry Cargo company, capable of providing a neutral and personalised service starting from the port of embarkation to the port of disembarkation and eventually, ending at the point of final consignment…
